Obsolescence of groovy synth parts

The one thing that is sure about the future is it's unpredictability.
Look into the reports that some geniouses made in the 60s about the
year 2000.  Completely wrong.

I learned from the hamster: get as many parts as you will ever need,
or at least need to build a certain project, spare parts included.

Who says that a CA3096 won't die before a MAT03 ?
