VCO tuning

   Is there any "rule" for tuning a VCO with a 1V/oct input ?

   In several designs, I noticed that the VCO was supposed to produce a 15
   Hz freq when the CV input was 0 V... Is that a rule ?
   Or is there a standard tuning for a CV input of, say, +1V ?

There are no "rules" for this...  but typically the lowest note on the
keyboard presents a control voltage of 0V, so it would make sense that
the 0V frequency would be some low C.
