a little OT: old oscilloscope

All, 

Two days ago I acquired a tektronix 561A oscilloscope and a few assorted
modules, probes, and stand from the trash of the physics building at my
university. The best part is the mobile stand... looks like a lunar
lander, and absolutely bitchin' next to my modular. 

Anyhow, anybody want to give me any pointers on this thing? I've played
for long enough to come to grips with what is my first oscilloscope.. got
my sine waveshapers in order.. 

My main question is, how old is this thing? 1950-something? Tubes galore.
