Slightly OT: Anyone want to swap CEMs for SSMs?

I know this is not a direct reply to your request (but you *should* find
someone who
will make *such* a swap, I suppose !). I just wanted to point out that your
OB-8
isn't useless at all if you're blowing one chip. You can easily remove the
bad voice
from the keyboard allocation (the autotune routine will most probably do
this
automatically), and you still have a powerful OB-7. So you can really burn
6 CEM3340's and you've still got as much VCO power as a Prophet5. Same for
the 3310's.
