memorymoog with midi?

a local shop has recently procured a memorymoog that has a midi retrofit
installed.  the shop owner said that the midi-kit is able to control all the
functions of the memorymoog.  I thought that this sounded a little unlikely,
so I put the question to you.  I imagine that he was suggesting that the midi
could control the patch selection and all the knobs on it as well, but that
doesn't make sense to me.  I thought that most of those midi retrofits only
controlled CV and gate, but I really have no idea.  Oh, and by the way, I'm
not in anyway looking to buy this machine, as I want something reliable (ready
for flames on that one)    :)
