adding sync input to old rhythm boxes?

can someone direct me to some information on adding sync inputs to
old stand-alone type rhythm boxes (ie korg sr120, roland cr68) so that
they will play sync'd with one another? the roland has a trig out but
the korg has no sync capabilities at all....anyone done this? it doesn't
seem
like it would be too hard to implement...
