ODP: one for the theorist

Hey, we're getting into audiophile arena again. Cool!

One of a-philes in our company talked about excellent
speaker cables, but hellish expensive, made only from
thin 'skin' and empty inside. Later we wanted to buy piles
of copper plumbing as a present for him.
Now I'm getting OT here.

AFAIK 'skin' effect becomes considerable above 100MHz
Am I wrong?
