Why no Japanese Twansistors?

I'm really not understanding why more use of jap. trans. aren't used
considering most can be bought for anywhere from .05 to .50 max.
Phillips has an excellent selection of dual matched pairs in the bcv61,62,63
and bc847 etc. These are standard amps though not DIFF/LIN like the 2sc1583
although it isn’t a pair itself .
Mitsubishi has the pnp arrays of 4 & 8 in the M54568L & M54569P

Thought I’d add the codes for Japanese Transistors for those who are
unfamiliar with them.
