Mine has SEVERAL transistors in the amplifier modules! The only tube in
them LOOKS like a transistor!

Some yahoo told me that you have to use SILVER solder to repair this thing
or else it's ruined! Must have taken ages to put it together like that. And
cost a fortune (in solder alone). One of the modules has a black front
panel, which the same po' bucker told me means it's military. Must have
cost the taxpayers even more just for the fancy panel.
And BOY is it big and heavy! You could anchor a small yacht in a gale with
this thing. Thank god it has a cart the size of a hospital gurnery to roll
it around on.
What the hell are all those connectors on the back for? A Frankenstein lab???

P.S. Who wants an HP *scope* anyway? I say Tek all the way! Oops, just
started an OT brand war... 8-)
