    Hello Paul
        The THAT transistors should make excelent log converters.
Although, it may be posible that you might even want to select these
parts.  Their delta Vbe is 3mv max.  Until I can see a batch of parts, I
won't know just how many are up in that range.  But most importantly, they
seem to have low bulk resistance and are matched over a wide range of
collector currents.

    I am also interested in using them in OTA's and as current switches.
They look very promising, if they can be had.
