The SSM2300 isn't just a switch, it is actually designed as an octal sample 
and hold. The caps are in the chip. And, I have boards stacked up waiting
for them 
to be plugged in.

I'm seriously wondering whether one should use ANY of the SSM series in a design
for ongoing production, seeing that AD have dropped preamp chips in the SSM line
that they designed themselves, as opposed to inheriting from PMI.
