Good, cheap pots?

I've grown a liking for the small Alps pots. There only about $1.20AUD from
farnell. Only problem is they don't go up to 1M (not at farnell anyway),
and they're really only good for PCB mounting, and They have a 6mm shaft
that's hard to find nice knobs for. Great if you can fit your electronics
inbetween the pots though. It makes for a neat little PCB. BIG components
can be monted on the underside.

Same here....
My reason is that my workshop is in a shed and it gets cold in the winter.
I do my microcontroller programming inside. I have to wait for a Sunny day
to build the development board then I'm set. I can't wait for summer :)
And I live in Sunny? Queensland. As someone taking the piss out of an
advertising campaign once said: "Queensland, beautiful one day, pissing
down rain the next"
