Hi.... A local surplus store has the DAC89-002k for $1 each. It says it's an 8bit A-Law DAC. I assume this means it has an exponential output. However I can't find a datasheet for it. Does anyone know about this chip or where I could find the datasheet? I'm thinking it might be good for a MIDI-CV for linear synths. (If it's accurate enough). Thanks, Stewart
