Hi,

How about the CEM 3396?

It's a µP controllable dual waveform converter / processor.
It can do crazy stuff on your waves. It needs a simple pulse input,
and CVs for changing waveform parameters. One sad thing is that
you need to vary those CVs according to the frequency of the
pulse input. 

It has built-in VCF and VCA, too. Dunno if it's available from Paul,
but the datasheeds is available (for inspiration) at www.synthtech.com
