During my first attemts to make VCA of ssm2164 I made variable slope one
and I never finished it only because frequency errors of wave shaping.
Transition from triangle to saw is interesting, I might say extremely
interesting,
but such waveform rectified is a killer!. slope changing sounds then
like filter sweep. I will come back to this VCO someday, when I'll find the
way
to fix this frequency error problem, and also thanks to long discussion
with mb a while back in private mail.
I say variable slope VCO sounds great
