I personally agree with Proteus on this one. I can understand why Rick is
upset as well; I agree it's best to leave the mailing list, archive, etc left
as-is. I just think it would be very nice to have a central web page for
synth-diy to use.
I'm assuming you have a good deal of server space to take on a project like
this, so I could see it being great to have a place where anyone's schematics
could be archived. It would be a wonderful resource to be able to go to one
site and look at 10 different VCO schematics from 10 different designers.
Maybe you could even use a search engine...
I just think there's a lot of good potential here, and I see no reason to be
upset with the name of the site. The site *IS* about synth-diy. I just
think that it should be obvious that it's not affiliated with the Synth-diy
mailing list.
