Yeah, but I still run across ppl in AH who dont know about synth diy but are
truly interested.. I have been trying to convert a few ppl, ppl who are
really interested in electronics more than hype and ego, but its a hard road
for them..
I mean, even when I first came here, after looking at and examining many
schematics and with a degree in electronics, I was blown away..

Maybe a website would make it less intimidating for the beginner, and give
them a sort of "starting point" for conversation on synth diy..

I have to say that this list itself has done more for my electronics carreer
than my degree did.. the degree just got me in the door, but the component
level knowledge is what has made me a cinch for every engineering tech job I
have ever interviewed for.

I still consider myself a neophyte in this field, but when I ante up to even
some older engineers, I surprise most of them with the knowledge I gained
from this list over the past couple of years..

So, kudos to the list!! :))

I hope it only changes for the better, and I hope some other poor fool is
enlightened by the talk that goes on in here and is able to garner a better
carreer because of it..

Rob
