a small question_(resistor codes)

I have known the color code for years, but alas I am red-green colorblind,
and resistors are pretty much the worst case scenario for me. I either test
the less obvious ones on my multimeter, or I ask my wife to sort them before
I start. It takes a LOT of good strong lighting for me to distinguish the
brown from the red, and the green from the brown- most of the others I do
ok.
By the way, does everyone know the mnemonic for the treble clef lines?
a) Every Good Boy Deserves Favour; or
b) Every Good Boy Does Fine
and of course the order of the sharps:
