I agree, with you, and I have posed a few question to 'the proteus'.
but I agree in principle it would be a good idea, one home page with a FAQ, 
either some peoples own home pages or links to the people on the list. As 
the guy seems to be doing this for nowt and no-one "owns" the list I have to 
give him credit for doing this. Its HIS time, HIS money and HIS computers, 
Im not about to shoot him down for trying to help.

Only time will tell what will happen, the flip side of the coin with this 
list is of course what happens if people dont join?
as other leave, for whatever reason, the list will dwindle.. Im still 
subsribed to BODE, remember that? I get one email about every 3 months 
now.... The list needs new blood, but friendly co-operative, not greedy and 
abusive.
