:::Martin,Paul,& DIY,
:::there is a circuit in the Feb'83 issue of Polyphony
:::magazine called the Dynamic Touch Controller* which
:::will perform the function of holding a peak voltage
:::from a piezo trigger signal. i built a dual version of
:::this that worked fairly well. it neaded a lot of trim
:::pot tweaking to work reliably. i do not have a scanner
:::but could probably use someones if anyone wants to see
:::it. i will be traveling for two weeks starting wed 7/7
:::so it may take a while. i could also snail mail it.
My intention was to use the spike (it is more like a "ring") for
triggering a cheesy drum box resonator. Thus the amplitude will translate
into resonance wave amplitude.
Anyway, holding means a s&h or a peak detector? I guess a peak
detector. Then the only question is how will it be reset for the next hit?
