I have a question regarding the ARP4072 filter which is based on
Norton amplifiers (schematics taken from ARPtech site):

I would like to reconstruct this filter, but what distracts me is
the need of four matched and thermally coupled pairs of pnp transis-
tors. Is there anything against inverting the whole structure and
using npn pairs ? CA3046 (my favorite now) might be used here,
I suppose.
