Good choice.. And, yes, everything except the sliders and transformers
should be able to withstand a good water cleaning..
Now, as for the sliders, perhaps you might want to replace those anyway.. I
think digikey or mouser has some sliders that would work for it, with the
proper values and size..
Or, you could just remove them first..
