blocked screws

Hello, I'm trying to remove a slider on the CPB board of my Yamaha CS-15.
The EG sliders are covered by a metal plate screwed directly on these 
sliders.
The little tiny screws are very hard to remove and very easy to damage (soft 
metal head).
Is there any chemical product that can help to unblock these screws without 
damage accidently the near circuitry?
