Hi Mark:
I typically just get the longest breadboards with 2 power busses on each
side. I lay these side by side on a sheet of AL and use a permanent
marker to color code the +15 (red), -15 (white, blue...) and common
(black) busses. Some boards already have colored stripes.
All you need then is a bipolar +/-15V power supply (we have one for $22
which also has a +5V output!). While some circuits might use other
voltages, you can derive these with TO-92 78Lxx type regulators
positioned on the breadboard.
