problem w/ a prophet 600

The P600 has a multiconductor connector going from the main CPU board to the 
front panel circuit board.  (It may be one of those flexible mylar film 
connectors - I'm not sure)  It sounds like that cable is not making good 
contact with its connector socket.  Try removing the cable, cleaning its 
contacts, and securely re-seating it.  Let us know if that doesn't work.
