Damn those big corporate things! If it helps, my websites main pages are on
conk.com, which is a 1 Meg free host with virtually no advertising and helpful
webmasters. when i had to expand my site i took up an account at Xoom which is
unlimited space, but 2 days later they started the annoying xoombar. however,
if you go to my site and watch the urls of the pages as you brows around
you'll see that there is no xoombar on any of the xoom pages. since my main
pages are on conk i can link to pages on xoom and include _XOOM in the url
which eliminates the xoombar. e.g.
http:members.xoom.com/_XOOM/indridcold/quotes.htm
i suppose it kinda beats the system. makes setting up links between pages a
bit weird though. the point of it is, i have a huge free site with no
advertising anywhere. gotta love it. Mike.
