This happened to me recently, with a boutique filter pedal (I will not name
names). I plug my guitar in, turned on the filter, and suddenly my guitar
sounded like NPR (National Public Radio). In other words, I was listening to
"All Things Considered," crystal clear, coming out of my amp. I've had this
happen to varying degrees with some fuzz boxes (the Prescription Electronics
Experience pedal always picks up a little signal) but never to the degree that
the radio broadcast was almost as loud as the input signal. I returned the
pedal.
