Wavetable DAC

Hello,

A few weeks back (or a few months?) someone mentioned a good DAC
to use for wavetable scanning, as done in the Wiard Waveform City
(maybe it was Grant who wrote it...?).  

Anyway, what DAC was it? I hope to build a wavetable VCO using a
CEM 3374 (so I suppose it'll be double).

Maybe y'all have noticed that I talk a lot and do very little...
well, soon (by the end of the month) I'll be making a web page
for my modular synth - featuring Pictures! So you can see that 
I have at least done *something*.  :-)
