Thanks Terry:
Somebody I know has an old RCA linear book that has the part in it. I am a
little dubious of the part for a few reasons. It does not appear on the Harris
Web sight. I would assume that this is because it is no longer manufactured,
at least by Harris. Second, it is not availiable from Mouser or Digikey,
although, I did find at least one place on the web that said they had them for
sale.
By the way, Harris has a part called the HFA3096. Ft on these parts is up
in the GHz range. Vcbo is only 12 volts. I suspect they are costly as well.
I did, just for the fun of it go down to our local electronics store (Dow
Marvac), and was surprised as heck that they had both the NTE42 and NTE43 in
stock. These people never have what I need. Bought one of each to fiddle
around with and see if the merit a larger purchase.
