I too have always been on the lookout for these items and have only found
them consistently in two forms: 1) Big beefy 120VAC 10+amp things (too big
for *most* synths) and 2) at the local electronics swap meet but this
really isn't consistent and I don't think I've seen bigger than 4 pole (+
they seems kinda cheap....).

If you can settle for a rotary, the nice ones like Grayhill and others have
several models with multiple ganged sections.  These almost always have a
position stop so you might have to get something like a 6 pole 12 position
and set the stop for just 2 positions.

Just an option.  If you do find a reliable source on high quality
multi-pole toggles, please post it to the list!
