Hi folks,
Has anyone ever used one of the Soundblaster series of
computer soundcards as a cheap effects device for their
synths? My PC has the Soundblaster 32 card installed. It
offers flanging, delay, distortion, echo etc for the onboard
synth instruments. Not sure if an external audio input can
be processed too (the card DOES have one). Be nice if there
was a utility that put them ALL on the screen at the same
time with adjustable sliders that I could tweek.
I was thinking about running my Odyssey through it to see
what it could do. Does anybody know of another computer
utility program that can take advantage of my Soundblaster
card and it's external audio input for on-screen manipulated
effects?
Robert
