Sorry for my previous answer to Merlin Zener.
I didn't read "separate windings".
So that's basically separate power supplies
sharing only the primary winding, and surely
a good solution.
I vaguely remember we had that topic before.
I just was confused because I got the above mail
from Merlin aparently as an answer to my caveat
on daisy chaining power supplies.
Sorry again for the rambling about burned down
houses and legal stuff, and for the confusion
this may have caused.
To say it again: What Merlin described is a good
"high end" solution.
