Switching FET (was 4859/4391/4392)

After I posted my query I did some searching. I found a Phillips
transistor cross reference on the net and it said that the KE4859 was
replaceable by an ECG467. This is the same as the NTE467 (available in
many places). Gene recommended the NTE466 which is of course very
similar. I also found the ECG467 used in some online VCO's (eg. MAXX
VCO's) as well as the 2N4391 and 2N4392. I was informed privately that
the 4391 is more similar to the KE4859. I think any fast switch of this
type would probably do OK.
