Common supply

I connected a Novation Bass Station and a Casio DA-R100 to the same home-built 9 V DC supply. The result was that when the DAT-recorder was on, I got some slight noise on the Bass Station output. I had to add a filter, consisting of inductors and capacitors, between the units to remove the noise. Anyway, this solved the problem and now I use this hookup. I didn't even buy the wallwart for the Bass Station (it wasn't included in the price).

Subject: Common supply
Like everyone else I'm sure, I am amassing this collection of warts on my
wall/floor/etc. Any reason I can't get/make a 9V 3A supply and just wire
everything to it? (9V because almost everything I have is 9V)
Is this a Bad Idea?
Thanks, Irish
BTW, I got my Midi Thru box done - worked first pass (almost; had a bunk chip
but not my fault).
