The HS60/Juno 106 has software-generated envelopes. As such, it has no
internal "gate" signal (except within its software). You could trigger the
unit with an external gate in this manner:

1. Disconnect the output of one the DCO's to its corresponding filter (I
suggest using voice #1)
2. Connect your external signal to the input of that VCF
3. Put the Juno in whichever Poly mode allows it to retrigger the same voice
repeatedly without voice-cycling (this is the Poly mode designed to be used
with portamento)
4. Wire a 4066 analog switch across the keyboard key of your choice (I
suggest Middle C or the lowest C on the keyboard)
5. Use your external gate to open and close the 4066

When you first press the Poly mode switch, the Juno's voise allocation will
reset to voice #1, and will stay there as long as you don't hit any keys on
the keyboard. If it loses its place, simply hit the Poly mode switch again.

Wiring up the 4066 and audio input stuff may or may not be trivial, depending
upon your current electronic skill level.
