My day job is somewhat related. For the past 8 years I've worked at a
startup company developing and then propagating a computer based device
used to help brain stroke survivors recover their use of language (in
conjunction with a specific treatment plan). I'm rewriting the current
iteration in Java.

I built my first PAiA kit around 1975 when I was an undergraduate student.
Over the years the time devoted to electronic music has varied greatly
(it's increased in the past year) but my interest in it has never wavered.
