Well, Seeing as everyone(?) else has chipped in, I'll tell you what I
do.

I'm a software engineer for a real-time software company - largely
working on automotive systems (CAN-bus based if anyone wants to know!).
We have just released a product to market which is the smallest, fastest
real-time-embedded OS on the planet (really! see
http://www.nrtg.com/nrta/ ).

Synths etc. are strictly spare-time hobbies..... although there are a
couple of DIY-ers here at work too!!
