Hi Arpad and all,

My advice. Buy one. The price of Behringer, Spirit and Mackie is now so
good it is very unlikely you will be able to build cheaper. I built my
own out of front panels thrown in the skip outside the factory, but it
is the components that are pricey. Mainly because of the large number of
pots. You will be buying pots at about 1UKP a go. Soundcraft get them
for a tenth of that, and the knobs are less still. The older Spirit
range are still being sold. These are good value and use do not use SMD
parts, and are therefore very easy to mod.

>Hello Tony (all),

I understand that you probably know everything about mixers, equlizers,
etc. I would like to build for myself a 6-8 channel home-studio mixer
which has e.g. the following controls for each channel: gain, 3-channel
equ, pan, effect, volume. So I'm looking for some schematics,
(relatively good quality -> fet opamps?). Could you help me?

Thanks in advance,

Arpad.
