OT: Cringely HAHAHA

I know (based on the recent day job disclosures) that some
of you get Info Week. Cringely cracks me up every time.

His predictions for 1999 include Netscape and Microsoft
actually suporting the same web standards at the same
time. No truth to the rumor it's in responce to the 
class action lawsuit filed by angry web developers. 
snicker....

Microsoft releases Office 2000 for Linux. Planning a 
full demonstration of the new product because they
don't expect any system crashes. HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Apple's working full time to deliver the backlog
of corporate orders for the iMac. Jobs says he's
completely suprised IT departments are going with
Mac OS X rather than wait for Win2000's delivery
sometime in late 2001.

hehe..he..heheheh

It's much funnier in Info Week. I just stole the best
bits for the folks who can't get Info Week. It's hard
to come by if your not in the industry up to your
eyeballs. 

I can't prove it but I think this guy is the infamous
Bandeedo. If you are clueless to this referance, you
are probibly in the majority.

BTW picked up a Quadra 605 040/55 80mhd/16mm OS 7.1
for $20. All of my old Mac software is very happy. Got
Netscape installed gona pick up a modem cable tomorrow.
I don't think the person who sold it to me had a hint
of a clue.

I still think the Mac's timing feels the best for midi. 
I gota big'ol southern grin in Atlanta.
