Digital DIY synths?

I can imaging that. One of the advantages of analog synth design is that  
there's so much out there, so many examples. With DSP synth's there's a lot  
less info, and you have to start from scratch. Anyway, I also have a theremin,  
so I'm used to awful sounds. (More due to the performance of the player, of  
course. <grin>)

I played a Nord Lead a few weeks ago. I actually thought it was the worst of  
the lot I tested. The Access Virus was the best, sound wise, and the Yamaha  
An1x was the most fun to play with.
