Looking for joysticks...

ALPS makes a few joysticks. Unfortunately you'll have to buy lots to get
any. I recently did a search on the word "surplus" looking for a place to
get Joysticks (I have a project that's a cross between a 8 step sequencer
and 4 VCAs that will use 8 joysticks - I call it the Vector-Effector) and
found a place called Goldmine electronics in AZ that has surplus Alps 150K
miniature joy sticks for about $3 each!!! I'm going to buy at least 10.
I'll let you know what shape their in. I'm also designing a module for my
Doepfer that has a DB connector for the standard Analog PC joystick (which
can be had for as little as $8) and gives out 2 CVs and 2 gates (the 2 push
buttons). That way you can have a remote joystick on a cable.
