It's the CEM3396. Actually a complete synth voice on a chip.
It would be very cool for one of the bit masters to figure
out a way to use this chip without a pile of hard/software.

Maybe using flash converters or a basic stamp???? Anyway
Paul S. has a bunch. Sure would be nice. One chip and a 
little i/o stuff per voice....
