AW: AW: Matrix board! (a CMOS one)

Hallo DIYs!

I built my matrix applications with other circuits:

MT8816 from Mitel
This is a 8x16 matrix cuicuit in a 44pin PLCC case.
It works with voltages from 4.5V to 13V (sorry not 15V).
Switches signals up to video frequencies!

Have a look at it in the MITEL databook
"DIGITAL/ANALOG communication handbook".

There are also other (smaller) matrix circuits...

They are controlled by 7 address lines, 1 data line, chip select, strobe
and a reset line that resets the whole matrix. So you can build many
matrix circuits in parallel with a chip select decoder.

I made a board (in the company I am working for) with 8 circuit
on one eurocard (160x100mm). But used only one output per circuit
(was necessary as I used every part not as a matrix - I used it as
a programmable mixer. I could mix up to 16 signals as I used an inverting
amplifier on the output as summing amp.

Here you could download the datasheet if you want:

For a fast view you could have a look at the first page of the datasheet at:

	Ciao
	Peter
