MK-50 filter / CA3019

I may be off here, but it seems that you could use four of the transistors
from an LM or CA3046 array connected as diodes. I just recently saw an app
note on the benefits of which junctions or configurations are better for
certain parameters...  Was it in a recent issue of Electronic Design, or EDN
magazine? Please advise....   Harry Bissell
