fatman problems ...

hi all,

i just mailed this to the fatman list, but i thought i'ld mail it to
this list also. the problem i have is :

completely ramdom there are a few keys in each octave that sometimes
play the designated tone and sometimes play the C of the octave above.
these notes are D D# F# G A and A#. so if i play them in octave 1, these
keys randomly play a C2. if this would happen all the time, i would
suspect a broken line on the DAC or the buffer, but the random-part of
it makes no sense to me. by the way, pressing the A key ALWAYS gives the
C above.

i changed ic4, but the problem stayed, so no solution there. furthermore
after checking ^ 3 i can say that all solderpoints are (probably) ok.

a last problem is that, when switching the fatman on, it's not always
initialized properly. sometimes it starts with playing a (random) note,
other times it initializes ok, but after pressing a key, it holds in C-1

anybody has any theories ? allthough it's not my first diy-project,the
fatman is my first project on synth-diy.

thanks in advance,
bauke
