It can only route one input to one output at a time. Several would need
to be rigged, with their like numbered output lines fed to a mixer. That
way it could probably be done. Ideally, you would want to make a 3-d
array of them. For an 8x8 you would want 8 chips in parallel, with
inputs in parallel and outputs mixed. Needless to say, if you increased
to a larger number of lines, a prohibitive number of chips would be
required.
