need advice on power supply assembly

Hello

I have a replacement power supply for a moog rogue which needs to have the
jack soldered onto the cord for the power source...  I have some experience
with electronics but the items in question came with no documentation so I'm
a bit confused...

Here's the situation: the jack is a fairly standard 1/8" headphone-style
mini-jack with a tip and a sleeve.  In my experience the tip is positive and
the sleeve goes to ground.  The power supply however, has THREE wires coming
out of it... Red, Black, and Yellow.  Red should be positive, black should
be ground, so what's yellow, and where do I attach it?

Any advice on this matter would be much appreciated.
