I didn't explain myself well at all. Yes it does put out a sine if you
don't drive it too hard, use two diodes and a lot of gain. If the audio
signal gets hot the diodes start clipping the signal. If you reduce the
gain and add more diodes ,the sine starts falling apart. By the time I
though I had a clean filter the sine had deteriorated by half. 

To anyone building it: Please ignore my attempts to modify Juergen's
filter.
