Yes ! You're perfectly right !
(No special trick here - it's just the normal current mirror circuit.)

Strange that you're the first one who noticed this. I hope the people 
who built it so far have "automatically" corrected the error. It's so
obvious, after all ...
If not, the circuit even might still work (sort of), but with terrible CV
feedthru ...
