that attachment is the same as the Horowitz&Hill ckt except where you have a 1M pot, theirs is 10K to match the other resistors. I dont think they picked it out of a hat.. and, think about the effect a nin-zero source impedance will have.. paul perry melb aust past his bedtime & fading fast
